What is the LifeChair?
The LifeChair tracks sitting posture in real-time and provides constant posture monitoring. The smart cushion uses our eTextile technology and scientifically developed proprietary algorithms to actively improve your posture through vibration alerts. Our AI models learn about your sitting habits and optimize the LifeChair device to cater for your unique workstyle.
Each LifeChair is personalised and calibrated for each user via a dedicated app. Collected data from your LifeChair allows your smartphone to display improved posture over time and key points of interests. The LifeChair will keep you active by regularly guiding you through stretching routines and reminding you to take standing breaks.
How does it work?
The LifeChair’s slim profile is designed to be portable, lightweight and wireless. Simply attach it onto your chair, tighten the straps and turn it ON.
The cushion connects to the LifeChair application - available on most smartphones and tablets. The app guides users to calibrate the cushion to their preferred upright posture.
Once calibrated, The Lifechair is able to recognize the way in which you are sitting and let you know to make some adjustments through a gentle vibration so that you can be more upright, comfortable and happy.
If you are slouching, it will let you know through a gentle vibration.
The app intuitively displays data collected from the LifeChair cushion such as posture improvement over time, slouching behaviours and total sitting time.
The app also allows users to enter various modes such as stretch assistance and meditation. Perfect for those who live in a predominantly sitting lifestyle.
